There are several ways to control the Ecler SoundMachine player:
- From the web interface: You can change Stations, volume, and other settings. Some changes, such as volume, take effect after the current song; others, such as a Station change, take effect after two songs.
- From the SoundMachine mobile app: Download the SoundMachine mobile app and sign in with the account associated with the player. As long as the mobile device and the player are on the same local network, the app will act as a remote control. Volume changes and track skips are immediate; Station changes take effect after the current song. Note: RM8 and RM8 PLUS devices do not support control via the mobile app.
- From a local browser: You can control the Ecler SoundMachine player from a device connected to the same local network as the player. To access the local control page, click the player’s Online status from the Users tab or enter the device’s current IP address directly into the browser, followedby /player.php. Changes made from this view are immediate. Note: on RM8 and RM8 PLUS devices, access is only available via the device IP address (e.g., http://192.168.1.249), without using “/player.php”.
